College of Arts and Sciences at Troy University - M.S. Social Science


Before becoming a teacher at Palm Bay Prep Academy in Panama City, Florida, Erinn Moriarty attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where she earned a bachelor of science in social sciences. Erinn Moriarty also attended Troy University in Troy, Alabama, where she earned a master of science in social sciences. 

Founded in 1887, the College of Arts and Sciences at Troy University features a number of undergraduate and graduate programs, including a Master of Science in Social Sciences. Students who complete the masters program in social science are able to find careers in a variety of areas, which include healthcare, government or non-governmental organizations, journalism, museums, and law offices to name a few. 

The Master of Science in Social Sciences program offers students the opportunity to take courses in subjects ranging from sociology and psychology to economics and political science. Social Science majors learn how to analyze issues in society, as well as how to use data analysis and statistics to evaluate the needs of individuals or communities.
